Well, it's official. I'm 31! So many desires of my heart have come to pass since my last birthday (the big 3-0!) and I feel so blessed. Last year, my husband surprised me with a weekend stay at the W hotel in Dallas and it was incredible. I'd always wanted to stay there & experience the pool overlooking the city. It was better than I'd expected and I've since recommended it to my couple friends for a great staycation!
This year, as a new mom again with the addition of baby Josiah to our family, I see how my desires have changed for this season. Between sleep deprivation, new routines, and getting the hang of being back at work, I honestly just wanted to chill and enjoy some peaceful family time.
As I woke up on my birthday this past Sunday, getting my daughter and baby son ready for church, I realized that I had no idea what I was wearing for the day. Yikes! I had tried to find a cute top or dress at the mall on Saturday but nothing really stuck out. Since I knew we'd be headed to brunch after service, I wanted to look a little nicer than usual. Typically on Sundays, my husband and I volunteer with the youth so we're pretty casual. Thankfully I found this pretty dress tucked away in my closet and ready for a spin. To jazz it up, I added my favorite jewelry from Kendra Scott. There's not a day that goes by that I don't wear one of her beautiful pieces. From my favorite Kellen ear jackets in rose gold (on final sale!) to my Elton Cuff bracelet that helps make the perfect stack, her jewelry designs are always a winner for me.

Well, from a dynamic sermon at church to quality time and words of affirmation from my family over a delicious brunch at Grand Luxe Cafe in Dallas, this birthday was special on so many levels.
