What’s your favorite place?
For some, it’s the outdoors filled with trees and waterfalls. Or mountains that remind you how big God is. For others, it may be the stillness of a quiet room in your home… or a home filled with family chatter and lots of food!
For me, it’s the beach. There’s nothing more peaceful and beautiful than the salty ocean waves and countless sand underneath my feet. Give me my Bible, some paints, brushes and canvases, and I couldn’t be happier. I could stay there for hours, fully content.
Joy in Jamaica
This Summer, my family and I were blessed to visit the beautiful country of Jamaica for a time of rest together. 🇯🇲
As I looked around at the palm trees and breathed in the ocean air, I couldn’t help but shed tears of gratitude. (Not to mention the incredible food!)
After a season of perpetual hardships this year from January to May, God spoke to me in a variety of ways throughout our trip and showed me that He knew this time of joy was coming after a long night of weeping.
At each turn, I could see His hand. His creation. His goodness.
Beachside Bible Study with You
During our trip, I had the idea to record a beachside bible study series to share with you throughout the summer. Something you could watch to experience the beauty of the beach and the Bible!
My hope is to encourage you to experience God’s word wherever you go. Whether you’re on vacation, at home, or on the go, you can connect to God through His word.
In each video, filmed on a beachfront patio with a beautiful ocean view, you’re invited to join me in studying a specific passage of scripture together and taking steps to apply the word.
